This is my husband and my favorite restaurant in California. We are trying to find a reason to get to Del Mar since we live in LA, just so we can visit Tamarindo. The last weekend that we visited San Diego, we ended up going to Tamarindo twice. I just wish there were more locations!

You have to try the tacos here, while they seem expensive $9 each, I promise they are worth it, they're not skimpy with the meat, go ahead and get the rice and beans.

I ate here one time in 2023. I still think about the chicken tacos all the time. Literally the best tacos I've had! I tell everyone I know that visits the San Diego area about this restaurant. I can't wait to go back again and wish it wasn't so far away!

Fun spin on classic elote. Good creamy sauce and nicely spiced with a little kick. The spears are easier to eat than a whole cob and make it a lot easier to share with the table!

Absolutely delicious chicken tacos! Perfectly moist chicken with the freshest of other ingredients. Highly recommend. Can't wait to try the other tacos now. Also love their guacamole :)
